New American Paintings has surveyed and introduced the artists shaping contemporary painting since 1993. My role on this project was to bring the magazine’s editorial voice online with a bold typographic system that lets the artwork lead. I designed the key interfaces of the new site, from the homepage and artist profiles to the jurors, artists index, and subscription flows.
With this foundation in place, phase one of the website was designed and built, integrating and adapting third-party tools and technologies to ensure a streamlined booking experience for guests.
